Scenes from Brewers Jam

The 7th Annual Brewers' Jam took place October 18th, 2003, at the newly renovated World's Fair Park. Sonny was recovering from a hospital stay and not with us, so we damned the torpedos and plunged ahead anyway.

We enjoyed having the chance to share the stage with the coolest 80's group anywhere, The Throwbacks, as well as the very awesome East Wind Band playing the best of R&B.

And our good friend Dr. Audie Smith stepped in and helped us on lead guitar. Audie is founding member and lead player for The Snooze Brothers; aka, Where's Romeo and The Defunkalators. He's now also dubbed "The 6th Invader" and will be performing with us on future occasions.

Last but certainly not least, all the brewers who each showcased their art of fine brewing. Definately a good time had by all.

A few from the Heartsong Featival

The Heartsong Festival was held in the Courtyard at the ThInQ Tank on Oct. 23rd, 2003. In all, over 18 acts donated their time to help raise money for The Heartsong Foundation, a program dedicated to helping rehabilitate handicapped kids and adults through art and music.

Audie again joined us, this time with his double-barrel Danelectro. We had a great time hanging out with a lot of cool people, including Jason McClure (below left) and Sir Phil (Knoxville radio legend) Williams, who mastered the ceremonies.
